Comforter
Traditional down comforters are made with feathers, which usually stems from the cruel practice of plucking feathers from live birds.
Our down alternative comforter is spun from 100% recycled plastic into soft, pillowy fibers that keep you warm in the cold and cool in the heat.
One word. Eucalyptus. By using eucalyptus in our comforter, it requires significantly less water than cotton and is considered a renewable resource because the trees used in making the products can regenerate. Plus, our fluffy down-alternative fill is made from reclaimed plastic bottles, saving them from ending up in the landfill.
We create our products to be both people-friendly and planet-friendly.
Eucalyptus fibers have antimicrobial properties that inhibit mold and bacterial growth. This allows your allergies to be kept at bay as the seasons change. These fibers are a renewable resource, as the trees used in making the products can regenerate. It also uses significantly less water than cotton does.
But most importantly, eucalyptus is extremely soft and durable, giving your life the healthy sleep it needs. Read more about why we use eucalyptus in our bedding.

In addition to being animal cruelty free, our comforter is eco-friendly for many reasons. First, eucalyptus requires significantly less water than cotton to grow. Eucalyptus is also a renewable resource because the trees can regenerate after they're cut. Also, our fluffy down-alternative fill is made from reclaimed plastic bottles, saving them from the landfill and ocean.
We started Notch because we wanted to create bedding for a healthier night’s rest that inspires us to be our best selves during the day. Eucalyptus’s natural fibers resist mold and mildew so your allergies can be kept at bay. Furthermore, it’s just as soft as cotton, if not softer, and more durable.
If that’s not enough, Eucalyptus is kinder and gentler for the planet. A renewable resource because the trees can regenerate after they're cut, eucalyptus uses significantly less water than cotton requires to grow.
We are based in NYC. Our products are manufactured in China in factories that are ISO-90001 and OEKO-TEX certified. The eucalyptus in our comforter and pillow is sourced from a top leader in Sustainability based in Austria.
